Max Alvis, Jr., CIMA®, C(k)P®, CPFA™Managing Director

With more than 30 years of financial services experience, Max has the privilege of forming close, long-term relationships with his clients. Max collaborates with clients by creating a goals-based plan, developing philanthropic and legacy strategies and constructing investment portfolios. Max also provides expertise in implementing and servicing corporate benefit plans including, defined benefit, defined compensation and non- qualified deferred compensation plans.

Max holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst ® (CIMA®) designation and is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute ™(The Institute). Max has earned the C(k)P® Certified 401(k) Professional Designation from The Retirement Advisor University in collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education. In addition, Max holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor™ designation and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Max and his wife, Sally, live in Lufkin, Texas and have two daughters, Anna Catherine Alvis and Elisabeth Alvis Kennedy. Max is the former Chairman of the Board of the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce. In addition to other board services, Max and his family are involved in the community, their church, and philanthropic endeavors.
